Hey Smith,

Thats OK. It was useful for us. 

We were also facing the same problem - the boxes running AS3 U4 running 
Oracle 10g R1 DB go out of memory once in a while goes for a toss till it 
is re-booted. Was wondering whether it is a generic issue with 2.4 kernel 
and 10gR1. Got it confirmed. Thanks.

BTW, any other solutions for this? We are experimenting with AS 3 Update 
6. Will keep posted.
