Cp command itself is an alias.

Give the command alias and you would see that cp = cp -i

So its always asking.

Subject: Why does 'cp -f' not work anymore?

Hello,

I'm using FC4 and even when I specify 'cp -f' I'm still forced to
approve the overwrite. Why is that?

Thanks,
Chris.
