Hi,
We're trying to synchronize RHAS2.1 time to several w2k3 servers
(domain controller) in LAN, using NTP.

our configuration is as follow:
1. time source servers are 148.175.153.138 & 148.175.157.132
2. time difference 5 minutes

Facts:
# cat /etc/ntp.conf
server 148.175.153.138 prefer iburst
server 148.175.157.132

restrict 148.175.153.138 nomodify notrap noquery
restrict 148.175.157.132 nomodify notrap noquery

restrict 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 nomodify notrap notrust
restrict 127.0.0.1

driftfile /etc/ntp/drift
# ntpq -np
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
==============================================================================
 148.175.153.138 .LOCL. 1 u 10 64 377 0.296 -279244 7.484
 148.175.157.132 148.175.153.138 2 u 28 64 377 0.364 -279244 1.615

Q:
I've run this configuration for 2 days, but servers still not sync. Is
it normal? how long 5 minutes discrepancy usually will sync?

Thanks in advance,
EF
