Bare metal recovery

Does any one know whats happening here.
I have Fedora 4 installaed,
df -h

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1             4.8G  3.1G  1.5G  69% /
/dev/shm              506M     0  506M   0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda3              27G   25G  118M 100% /hub
df: `/var/named/chroot/proc': Permission denied
Why the number are not matching,. and why the permission denied error, 
how to fix these
