Mouse problems on firstboot

Hi All,

We have recently taken delivery of some HP XW4300 workstations preloaded
with Enterprise Linux 3 (WS) Update 5 and I am having great difficulty
installing the systems. Everything goes well, until it comes to the mouse
selection screen (not very far into the setup process). Once I select the
mouse (in this case it is a logitech PS/2 wheel mouse) I can no longer
control it! The cursor disappears to the top of the screen and stays there,
no matter what I do. I've selected the generic mouse (all flavours) all of
the logitech mice and I've even tried the MS mice. The mouse behaviour
stays the same.

Any ideas before I start to seriously think about using my steel toecaps on
a rather expensive piece of hardware...

Andy
