HowTo change a src rpm and create a custom rpm?

Hi All,

I'm needing to create a couple of new web servers.  I'd like to use
the src rpm from RedHat, but I need to add OCI to the PHP
configuration.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this easiest? 
I'm looking at rpm documentation now.
