Does to me too but I am still trying to figure out how to do that
with a 2.4 kernel.

I had hopes that I might be able to use the post-install in the
modules.conf and pass parameters to the megaraid driver but so far
I have not been able to determine if the driver will support any
parameters ("modinfo -p megaraid" provided the very useful
"megaraid string"<g>). I am continuing to search.
