/etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny

 hi   
 
  i can't  use the /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny with the domain name  and  the hostname but i can use it with the ip 
 
 
 for example 
 
 in /etc/hosts.deny
 
 sshd: .win2linux.com  EXCEPT abeer.win2linux.com
 
 after that i reloaded the sshd service but it not working correctly  
 
 and i tried with ip 
 
 sshd: 192.168.1.  EXCEPT 192.168.1.159  and its work fine 
 
 where is the problem ?
