problem mounting filesystem

Check your /etc/mtab file. Looks like you somehow already have a
record for /home2 /dev/hdd1 there.

>[root aa2 ~]# mount /home2
>mount: /dev/hdd1 already mounted or /home2 busy
>[root aa2 ~]# mount /dev/hdd1
>mount: /dev/hdd1 already mounted or /home2 busy
>[root aa2 ~]# umount /dev/hdd1
>umount: /dev/hdd1: not mounted
>root aa2 ~]#
