Areas to clear out on Redhat Server

files, logfiles, spoolfiles in /var/log , /var/spool you can delete , 
they will be made by the system again starting empty.

Beside the command df (with options) you can use the du command to check 
where are large files you can delete.
Maybe a /home or /usr or else can be to large.

Re-format i.e. /home or /usr to another disc or larger (empty) filesystem.

Use symbolic-links to point to larger empty areas.
