Re: how to create /dev again?? - Almost solved



Kill udevd process and run /sbin/start_udev then (RH, CentoOS)

or

/etc/init.d/udev restart for some other distros.

I have one server with same setup.

I managed to copy the  /dev to the server.

Now it seems everything is fine.

I even try " mknod " to make character or block device.

I have not rebooted the server as it is live one.
