up2date hangs

Hello All,

I have been struggling with up2date recently on Red Hat ES 4. When I run
up2date with any options it just hangs on fetching rpm headers. I ran an
strace on the process and it show that is just stops with no errors. I

checked the date on the system and its right on.  Has anyone else had
this issue. Here is my setup.

cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 3)

uname -a
Linux (<
Server.host.com <http://server.host.com/>> ) 2.6.9-34.0.1.ELsmp #1 SMP
