update to xorg 7.0 on fc3

You can probably just get the xorg 2.0 ( I assume you mean 2.0) rpms for 
FC3, they should be the same as for FC5.

If you try to use FC5 rpm's, I doubt they will work due to dependencies. 
Try looking on rpmfind.net or the such
