Heartbeat configuration

 Thanks for you mail. I asked the person who is doing the test.
 The problem seems to be the following:
  He has a master and slave configuration. When he stops the
  Service(Apache deamon) on Master the slave seems to be not informed
  about the status of the daemon and the slave is not taking over the 
  function of master.According to him heartbeat sw should start the
  slave with the Apache daemon. 

  Any suggestions is appreciated.
