specifying alternate installation tree in pirut

Hello list,

              My doubt is about the new package installer in Fedora Core 5,
pirut. Using the system-config-packages of Fedora Core 4, it was possible to
specify an alternate path for the installation tree other than CD/DVD using
the --tree option. But using the new tool, system-install-packages (pirut)
in FC5, it seems that it is not possible. Any ides?
