lvm testing RH Enterprise 3

I want to test the expansion of some lvms,
so I need to create a test lvm/filesystem,
expand it, and then delete it.

I have the syntax to do the creation and expansion,
but I can't find the syntax for the filesystem 
deletion and lvm deletion :

mkdir /xunusr
lvcreate -l 256 usrvg -n xunusr
mkfs -j /dev/usrvg/xunusr
mount -t ext3 /dev/usrvg/xunusr /xunusr

?

Forgive the newbie question.
