mount -t cifs --- mounts only in read only.

Hi,

I have FedoraCore 5..
I have mounted a windowsxp shared file in FC5 using cifs
When I do mount , it shows the mount point as (rw,mand) , but I am not able to create or edit anything in that mount point.It says readonly
