Using RSA Secure ID authentication for console access

Hello,

I'm using a basic install of RHEL 4 to testl RSA authentication. It is working via ssh without any issues. However, it fails when I attempt to configure for console access. Actually, authentication at the console works via RSA (I can see successful logins on my RSA server logs, as well as in the /var/log/secure log on the RHEL box) but instead of giving me a shell after authentication, it drops me back to a login prompt. Here's my /etc/pam.d/login file:

[root at pwk-sv-lnxtst2 pam.d]# more login
#%PAM-1.0
#auth required pam_securetty.so
#auth required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
#auth required pam_nologin.so
auth required pam_securid.so debug
account required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
password required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
# pam_selinux.so close should be the first session rule
#session required pam_selinux.so close
session required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
session required pam_loginuid.so
session required pam_console.so
# pam_selinux.so open should be the last session rule
#session required pam_selinux.so multiple open

I've tried commenting out various portions of this file but nothing seems to work. Is there something else I am missing? Thanks

dave
