DST patch for RedHat Linux

I decompressed the file and ran:

"zic northamerica"

The new timezone files were automagically put under /usr/share/zoneinfo, and I was able to run "timeconfig" to update /etc/localtime.  Side-note: if you're running 64-bit RHEL, you will probably need to update the glibc RPM's as well... If you "zdump -v /etc/localtime" and get a segmentation fault, you'll need them.

Well, we're on RHEL 3 & 4, but I assume what's at NIH will work. Not having done this before, do I just dump the code and the data into a directory, and run zic on it, or...? The zic man page isn't real clear on this.
