NAS and LiveCD (Was RAS and LiveCD)

You might want to take a look at Freenas. You can find it's website @

http://www.freenas.org/

It's based on Freebsd and supports CIFS (samba), FTP, NFS, AFP, RSYNC,
iSCSI protocols.
