cpu architecture

Here's what I see on a 64 bit machine:

[user at host1 home]$ uname -a
Linux host1 2.6.18-8.el5 #1 SMP Fri Jan 26 14:15:14 EST 2007 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
