Problem to install modem

Hello all,
I am trying to install the MultiTech modem card ISI5634UPCI/8-EU
but during compilation it give me error as like

grep: /usr/src/linux-2.6.9-22.ELsmp/include/linux/tty.h:No such file or
directory
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -DMODULE -DLINUX  -D__SMP__ -O2 -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes

make: *** [mtsi_upci.o] Error 1

When i go to directory /usr/src i found that their is not directory except
redhat/ dir.
can any one tell me who can i sole this problem ?
