Hi.

You should consider using ssh ...... for executing remote programmes on
the local machine... a simple example is to use ssh -X user at remote_host
once logged on you can run the programme you need. this both secure and
you also don't need to open extra ports on the firewall. If you need to
interact with vnc securely then use ssh to foreward the vnc pot to your
local machine like this ssh -L 5910:remote_host:5900 -f -N
user at remote_host.

Is there a remote desktop client available for RHEL that is better (more
secure) than some of the more popular ones (VNC, etc.) that someone can
recommend that they've had good experience with?
