Can u check the spelling of the dns config file . u have mentioned it as resolve.conf it should be resolv.conf

hello all......
                   i have a broadband connection.when i connect my system
from broadband modem.
                   system got ip like ---->>>192.168.1.6
                   resolve.conf entry------>>>192.168..1.1

                  after this i made my local dns server then i change my
resolve.conf entry --->>192.168.1.6
                  give the forwarders { 192.168.1.1; } in named.conf

                  after this i can not resolve other websites which in not
in my local dns database..like www.google.com.

You need to insert dns address, not the g/w address in forwarders entry.

Please check out with your ISP about DNS server.

Or use any open DNS.

In the past I have used

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59

To fool sources that require IE.  YMMV but it was great for me for a
time.
