RHEL Server vs. Desktop

Thanks - I should have specified that the question was about RHEL 5.
They have changed the naming a bit - the categories are now "Desktop",
"Server", and "Advanced Platform".

This table lays out the basic "offerings" but does not say what the
differences are in available packages and functionality.

You would think it would be a no-brainer question but the information
does not seem to be available.

I'll see if I can get somebody with clear and verifiable answers from
sales :-)

yes, there is a different between the channels for server and
workstation.
the same holds true for the cds/isos.

The RHEL v.4 WS does not have all of the server tools, packages, and
functions since Red Hat sees the workstation and the server having two
different roles, purposes, and needs.

I never cared to compile a list.

You might contact Red Hat sales or support with this question.

On its face, the question is a "no-brainer".
