update problems

I found that there are a couple of programs called package-cleanup and
yum-complete-transaction that come in the yum-utils package. I do not
know why this package is not installed along with yum. I have run
"yum update" a couple of times where the program suggested that I run
yum-complete-transaction before I continue with the update. However,
yum-complete-transaction was not on the system.

I will install yum-utils on the RedHat and fedora stations.

package-cleanup --dupes

tells me that the systems do not have any duplicate packages.

I still need to find out why the RedHat system page reports needed
updates on three of the systems and yum can find nothing to update.
