fstab entry for CD missing in RHEL5

Hi,

I have just kickstarted another RHEL5 server andnnoticed that there is
no entry in fstab to mount a CD. Also the /mnt and /media directories
are empty.

I was able to mount a CD (actually an ISO image attached to the virtual
machine) but I'd like to know why this is not working on RHEL5 as it
does on older versions of RHEL.

I've included the output of the (as far as I know) relevant commands
below.

This is on a server that has been installed with as few packages as
possible, so perhaps there is just a "base" package missing but I
couldn't find any package that would fit the bill.

The software section of my kickstart profile is:
-bluez-gnome
vim-enhanced
-ypbind
-Deployment_Guide-en-US
-bluez-libs
-cups
-ppp
-cups-libs
-wpa_supplicant
-mesa-libGL
ntp
-yp-tools
-bluez-utils
sysstat
-NetworkManager

I've found several references to this problem on the net, particularly
related to VMWare but all the proposed solutions were to mount the Cd
manually as I did.
