I installed RHEL 5.2 on IBM blade center with bond0 without any issues.
Can you post:
1. /etc/modprobe.conf
2. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bond0
3. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
4. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1
