I have not integrated Server 2008 with RHDS, however, I am currently
reading up on the new AD certification. 2008 is designed around the
idea of server roles. One subset role of Active Directory is
Lightweight Directory Services (LDS). It is designed to allow
applications and or other operating systems to use a customized schema
that can either be new or based off the current AD objects for
identification and access. This might be the right path for you to go
down.

Hope that helped,
