I could not recommend going back to Red Hat 9. Pick up with Red Hat
Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5. Much is the same, but there are some things in
Red Hat 9 that are no longer in use (no need to learn things that are not
being used), and there are important new technologies in RHEL 5 that are in
use today, but are not in Red Hat 9.

There are a number of tutorial documents for Red Hat 5. Try:
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/ and start with the
Installation Guide and Deployment Guide. I expect if you look around the
site, you will find versions written in your native language.
