HW to clone a sata disk

Hello,
In my laptop(Siemens Lifebook S7020) I have a SATA disk with Linux
installation. I want to make clone disc( mirroring) from the SATA disc
as a reserve.  If some HW (Disc) problem arises then I want to use the
cloned disc . I would like to know which HW adapter I can use to clone
the disc?  I want to use my USB port for the Adapter connection. Which
adapter mark is available in Europe? What will be the approximate
price?
