Device discovery over ISCSI

Hi All,
This is a query regarding the device name assgined for my NetApp lun over
ISCSI. I am able to login to the target successfully but unable to see the
device on the server.
Please see;
[root at Server1 ~]# service iscsi start
iscsid dead but pid file exists
Starting iSCSI daemon: [ OK ]
[ OK ]

output of dmesg also gives no information:

I do not see any new device using fdisk -l..
Can anybody tell me what could be the issue.
