Problems faced during porting applications from RH 7.2 to RHEL

Hello,
I am working on the project to port applications from Red Hat Linux 7.2 OS
to RHEL.

I am facing problems during this porting :
1. Executables build from RH7.2 can be invoked and used further without 
any error from RHEL.

2. Some of the binaries generated on RH7.2 are not at all working from 
RHEL. They either produce core-dumps or the application gets hanged.

Most of these binaries are dynamically linked, shared libraries.
It will be very helpful if anybody can point out precautions to be taken 
during compilation and linking of such binaries.
