Red Hat 4.0 U3 LSI Logic Raid Controller

I have had problems booting my server (Sun x4100) running Red hat 4.0 
U3.  It hangs on boot 4x out of 5.  Once it boots it runs great.   I 
read the below post and it seemed similar to my issue.  But I was 
wondering if anyone else was experiencing this type of issue, or know if 
there is an upcoming patch that I should watch for.
