Storage module not detected during AS linux boot

Hi,

We have an AS 2.1 linux server with an external storage box added ...after
every server reboot we need to make the external storage be recognised by
doing a "insmod" operation...is there any way for the kernel to load this
module during boot time before some rc scripts(since certain rcscripts refer
this external storage and that service fails cos we need to manually install
the module after reboot)
