I just recently installed two oracle servers on RHEL4. I was provided by
our Oracle services provider with the following list of required packages to
be installed. I did a custom install, choose packages that I knew I wanted
from a sysadmin perspective, and then used up2date to install any missing
packages from the list. Apps=11.5.2 DB=10g. No issues yet... doh! List
to follow...
Best of luck,
Christian
