How to hardware raid info

If it's a Dell system, you can also install OpenManage. Under the option of "Storage", it will tell you the hardware controllers, RAID configuration, and status of the drives in the array.

I've found that the software does not normally require a reboot to install. Once installed, access it by going to http://servername:1311 (servername can be the hostname or IP of the box).

HP Proliant: Check HP System Mgt Homepage (Home -> Storage -> Smart Array..... -> Logical Drives)
Other hardware using LSI MegaRAID: Download/install Linux MegaCLI (http://www.lsi.com/storage_home/products_home/internal_raid/megaraid_sas/feature_line/megaraid_sas_8880em2/index.html). Then run '/opt/MegaRAID/MegaCli/MegaCli64 -CfgDsply -aALL'
