[rhelv6-beta-list] RHEL 6 beta 2 - x86_64 version flaky in KVM virtual machine

Hi all,

Experiencing random appliation crashes when installing RHEL 6 beta 2
(x86_64) in a KVM virtual machine on my local Fedora 13 desktop.

Anaconda sometimes aborts when detecting storage, sometimes when
installing packages, etc.

Doing the install in text mode works ok, but the actual installed system
still seems flaky. (ie other random failures in python bits of things
like rpm)

Mentioning this because it seems to be a known problem, though people
may not have yet realised it occurs with the public beta 2:

   https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=609071

For the moment, it looks like the workaround when installing in a VM is
to use the x386 version.

Hope that helps.

Regards and best wishes,

Justin Clift
