Network still can't be configured, I did get into 'Configure Network Settings' but get the message 'Your platform not supported' I selected Fedora sine it was the closest, but nothing shows up to configure. 2. X is there but of course it isn't very intuitive to run. 3. I re-entered the passwords for the usrs I add and can now get into at least one of them, every time I go into that user I have to select KDE each fime, FC12 is much more user friendly. 4. Inittab, still no idea how to get the modem recognized or set up to connect. Thanks, tomorrow I am going to page 2 and I will see what happens then.
