I've since started using: ksdevice=00:11:22:33:44:55 (MAC address instead of interface name) --kyleo </blockquote> bingo. that got me a couple stages further. now anaconda's barfing "Failed to read directory /mnt/runtime/etc: No such file or directory". i filed <a href="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=621736" title="NEW - remote install fails">bug 621736</a> about that. meanwhile can anyone tell me what's wrong with ks=nfs:192.168.3.4:/kickstart/pecan.ks it doesn't work with rhel5 either.
