No guide for how to define the modem to support ppp0 in inittab. 2. wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.mbs doesn't find the modem. 3. After re-doing the passwords in 'users and groups' I was able to get into another user, BUT everytime I select a user, I MUST re-select KDE to get a kde screen, no problem in Fedora Core 4. When issuing a vncserver command, you get 'command not found' and sure enough it isn't there; since our entire application is set up using the 'thin client' model outlined in a previous Red Hat newsletter set of articles, this is beyond unacceptable and unfathomable, is nobody using a 'thin client model'? 5. Icons that are in Red Hat 5.x aren't there in 6.0? it looks to me that 60-70% are now just '?' 6. The modem is not found #2 above and the network isn't found. When running 'infocenter' the modem is there as a 3COM 56faxmodem and the network is listed as 'virbr0', when attempting to configure you get a list of Linux operating systems and 'platform not found', selected Fedora, didn't do any good, network still not there. I am now on page 2 of my setup cheat sheet, there really isn't much more in earth shaking features to try but at this point, unless these issues can be resolved reasonably the software is beyond unuesable.
