RHEL6 has btrfs as tech-preview. I've been burned by tech previews before. Also, if you recall there was a talk by FC15 maintainers and how they turned away btrfs as main FS for OS due to instability.

Well, if you're concerned about having a long fsck time, btrfs is the 
solution, because there isn't a release-quality fsck for btrfs yet. :)
