[rhelv6-list] Availability of fanotify in RHEL6.

Hello All,

I am working on file event trapping application using fanotify and recently
got a requirement to have that application run on RHEL5 and RHEL6 also. As
fanotify is available since 2.6.38 version of Linux kernel, I was wondering
if there is any patch available to be used in RHEL5(2.6.18.x) and
RHEL6(2.6.32.x)  or any plans to provide the same in future update releases
? I would really appreciate your reply.
