[rhn-users] BUG with ifup

In previous versions of RedHat I could control aliased interfaces individually. But now I cannot.

When one configures an alias to eth0 for example it is done like so: /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:4 DEVICE=eth0:4 BOOTPROTO=none BROADCAST=203.18.20.255 IPADDR=203.18.20.4 NETMASK=255.255.255.0 NETWORK=203.18.20.0 ONBOOT=no USERCTL=no PEERDNS=no TYPE=Ethernet

However in the script /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-aliases it is ignoring the ONBOOT=no
It seems to take parameters from the parent and not worry about the above parameters. Some of the parameters above are superfluous but USERCTL=no is essential if it exists. Please fix this.

Thanks

Grahame Jordan
