Re: [rhn-users] Segment fault

I've had segmentation faults with error messages about a shared lib -
libc.so - every time I try ls -al. Very strange. So I checked file system
usage - 90% on /, meaning time for a clean up. The offending file was a
shell script putting huge amounts of data in the /var/spool/mqueue. Once
removed everything was back to normal.

So bottom line - if possible try to check space left on your system. If you
still get the faults, try going to init 1 and poke around for strangeness.
Still having problems, it's time to reboot into single user, check your
filesystems, etc.

Adding a little fuel to the fire ...
