Hi there,
could anyone give me a hint on how to enhance color display with RHEL WS
V3 on a Dell Latitude Notebook. Its running NVIDIA Geforce 2GO chip and
I've got the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336 graphics installed.
While true color is OK for all resolutions below 1280x1024 system will not
output it when in this mode. Video Memory is 32MB.
Previous releases of RH 9 and NVIDIA graphics (4xxx - I honestly don't
remember) did show true color in this mode. Looking into
/var/log/XFree86*log will however declare, that visual is TrueColor and
that: (--) Depth 24 pixmap format is 32bpp.
Any idea ?
Thanx in advance, Aron
