Eric,
Taking a stab at it (as usual) so forgive my ignorance of AIX and SCO's syntax:
list devices:
dmesg
find all devices listed under: /dev (nothing new here)
and look for hd...
find filesystem usage - and get an idea of usage per hd:
df -v (shows all mounted)
check partition info:
fdisk -l
check mounted devices:
mount
find your ide devices:
cat /proc/devices | grep ide
play with the disk config:
more at man hdparm
HTH,
Nick

Subject: [rhn-users] Disk information with RedHat Enterprise ES
Hello all,
Can anyone tell me what the equivalent command is for 'lsdev -Cc adapter' under AIX and 'sdiconfig -l' under UnixWare? I'd like to get the harddisk information. Already found where to obtain scsi info but a little in the dark about harddisks.
Met vriendelijke groeten,
