Hy all, I am in a serous trouble with my RedHat distribution AS v.3. I must import a lot of volume groups created on a disk array connected to an IBM RISC6000 with AIX 4.3 (file systems jfs type). I had some difficults to extend a JFS file system on RedHat. On web support I didn't find anything for JFS. So I surfed internet and found this on http://oss.software.ibm.com/pipermail/jfs-discussion/2004-January/001561.html:
 
Redhat's official claim is that jfs for redhat advanced server is unsupported but they also say that lvm is only "Supported" during the installation process.  I find this very strange. 
 
Then what's the truth ? Is there anyone who experienced jfs on redhat A.S. v.3 ? Is it stable ? I create a filesystem jfs type and LV but when I gave the command 
 
mount -o remount,resize=10 /mnt/JFS 
 
I had this error message:
 
jfs_extendfs: volume hasn't grown, returning
 
At this point I would appreciate very very much any helping hand.
