If the diff is in a couple of minutes, then I can only imagine it is a different
timestamp. A `man ls` (in ssh) can show options to show the different timestamps.
If the diff is (exact) multiples of 1 hour (or sometimes half hours) then it is
due to different timezone settings. On unix (and linux) the timestamps are
regorded in 'epoc': seconds since 00:00, 1 januari 1970 GMT.

In the end, times are always equal since it is most times only the
representation that differs.
