[rhn-users] rc.shutdown

Is there any files which  works as rc.shutdown on RHES
3.0 ?

I am looking something opposite to rc.local. I do not
want to put all K<script>  on run-level location
"rc<x>.d" ?

What are the steps occurred when system shutdown ? Is
there any solution to shutdown the application process
"Not from run-level with K< >" by executing something
like rc.shutdown ?
